A JOURNEY OF HOPE AND PROMISE
WHERE EAGLES FLY is an Irish American musical that tells the story of courage and humanity, set against a backdrop of momentous historical events. It is a musical celebration of Irish and Scottish ancestry, their journey from the 1600's onwards and their settlement in Philadelphia and throughout the United States.
A story of exile, emigration and the courage to leave loved ones behind; searching for A Better Place.

THE SETTING
This lavish production traces history back over 4 centuries and 3,000 miles to tell the story of a proud people, brought to their knees by starvation, strife, persecution, and poverty. But, like all oppressed nations, they will not be bowed or beaten and will triumph against adversity in the end. The journey is seen through the eyes of several generations of emigrants from Ireland; one of those being Andrew Jackson, who became the 7th President of the United States.

AN IRISH – AMERICAN STORY
From as early at the 1600’s, the first Irish immigrants arrived in Pennsylvania. For the next 400 years, they
continued to arrive at the ports of Philadelphia, Delaware, Boston and New York as the fame of the colony spread far and wide across the burgeoning settlements of the new territory that in time became the United States of America.

THE CAST
Where Eagles Fly features an international cast of multi-talented performers. With state of the art staging, over 300 costumes, imaginative visuals, memorable songs, dancing and music, this production is above all a great story; it is the journey of hope and promise that stirs in us all.

MUSICAL SCORE
"Lush and gorgeous as to raise the hair on your arms. This is not a juke-box collection of well-known Irish songs, but songs that are equally hummable, bringing wonderful contemporary Irish sounds together with highly accessible music."
- Broadway World
